This FREE event allows community members to explore various police, fire and emergency medical services apparatus with hands-on tours of police cars, fire trucks, ambulances and medical aircraft.

Saginaw Township Police Department members from all divisions and units are represented at the event. Officers look forward to the opportunity to make positive contact with community members.  They patiently answer questions about aspects of their career choice, the equipment they use and the types of calls for service they routinely handle.

The interaction with young people and children is especially rewarding because it gives the officers an opportunity to interact in a personable manner without the normal high awareness, sometimes stressful conditions that may otherwise be the reason for contact.

In addition to safety and fun materials for our youth, officers fit and distribute free bike helmets while supplies last.
